We start by testing the 4 RGB LEDs on the Robotbit expansion board.
Setup (important)
- Insert the micro:bit — buttons A and B face outwards
- Install a charged 18650 the correct way around
- Activate the battery (press the activate button after each battery install)
- Turn the power switch ON (towards the green connector)
You should see the power indicator light up.
Tips
- Robotbit Micro USB is for charging only — not for downloading programs. Always program via the micro:bit USB.
- First time battery is in: press activate, then switch power ON.
- Edge RGBs are the 4 programmable LEDs on the board (connected to P16).
- Click Next when the board has power.
